Artwork

Screen printing artwork requirements

Send the best file you have. If it is not print ready we will tell you before anything goes on press, not after.

Preferred file formats

Vector art scales to any size without losing quality. These are what we want:

  • Adobe Illustrator (.ai)
  • CorelDraw (.cdr)
  • Encapsulated PostScript (.eps)
  • Portable Document Format (.pdf)

Raster files we accept

At 300 dpi or better, sized to the final print size:

  • Photoshop (.psd), left in layers
  • TIFF (.tif)
  • PNG (.png)
  • JPEG (.jpg)

Word, Publisher and PowerPoint files cannot be used. Files that need rebuilding are subject to an art charge, quoted before we start.

Before you send it

  • Leave the art in layers
  • Outline or rasterize your fonts
  • Assign Pantone colors where you can
  • Size the art to how big you want it printed
  • Remove the white background unless you want it printed

Print sizes

  • Adult front or back: up to 14 in x 16 in
  • Left chest: about 4 in wide
  • Sleeve: about 3.5 in x 12 in
  • Youth: scaled down to fit the garment

Not sure how big your design should run? Send it and we will mock it up on the shirt.
